Enfin ! Le très célèbre magazine britannique "Conde Nast Traveller" vient de publier dans son numéro d'octobre paru le 7 septembre dernier les CNTraveller Awards 2006 appelés couramment "The Best of the World".

Une fois de plus, British Airways reste la meilleure compagnie dans ce domaine. Ses lounges (espace terasse), l'efficience des techniques d'enregistrement (internet / bornes / téléphone...) et les "daily pack" (nourriture saine) lui confèrent le statut de N°1 en Europe.

Cathay Pacific s'est distingué cette année avec notamment sa ponctualité sur ses vols long courriers. Virgin Atlantic, grâce à ses programmes de divertissement de très haute qualité, arrive tout de même en deuxième position. Enfin, Emirates est distingué du fait d'un bon rapport qualité / prix.

Emirates atteint un taux de satisfaction du fait d'un très bon rapport qualité / prix, d'un ponctualité toujours atteinte mais aussi du fait d'un programme de divertissement très varié en classe Affaires. British Airways se retrouve de ce fait en deuxième position : son nouveau produit "Club World" devrait théoriquement être annoncé avant la fin de l'année !

Parait-il que si vous avez du retard à Dubai, ce ne serait que du plaisir : propreté, design, duty free énormmmmmmeeee...bref, cet aéroport est plus un centre de loisir et le temple du shopping qu'un aérogare !!!

Quant à Hong Kong International et Changi (Singapore), il arrive tout deux respectivement en 2nde et 3ème position grâce à leur restauration innovante et internationale. Bon allez, on ne va pas se moquer...Mais le "magnifique hub d'Air France" n'arrive qu'en 15ème position mondiale et 8ème position européenne...un comble pour un pays accueillant le plus grand nombre de touristes (près de 75 millions / an).

The Park Hyatt Tokyo gained the highest marks for standard/comfort of accommodation (98.10), food/restaurants (96.19), conference facilities (95.19) and shopping facilities (96.19), ensuring its place as your favourite overseas hotel for business.

Elsewhere, you think The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore has a superlative location (97.78), the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris is the best bet for ambience/decor (98.24) and service/staff (98.24), and the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong gained the highest score for value for money (96).
